Nuisance animals love to use building insulation for their nests that are located in the walls, attic, or other areas of your dwelling. They leave behind urine and feces which has been linked to an incurable respiratory disease named Histoplasmosis (aka Darling’s disease). The accumulation of urine and feces over time can cause rot (structural degradation) and mold to grow and spread in the attic and walls. Mold has been linked to respiratory problems and to cause allergic reactions.
