Raccoon Removal in Virginia

Raccoons are one of our number one complaints in residential areas, often sneaking into attics, chimneys, garages, and sheds in search of food and shelter. They are strong and destructive, tearing insulation, chewing wires, and damaging roofing materials as they force their way inside. Their droppings can spread parasites such as raccoon roundworm, and they are also known carriers of rabies, posing a health risk to people and pets. At night, raccoons create noise and disturbances as they knock over trash cans, raid gardens, and rummage through pet food. Female raccoons often den in attics to raise their young, leading to even more damage and noise as the litter grows. Once they establish a nesting site, raccoons are very persistent and will often return year after year. Their intelligence and strength make them extremely difficult to trap or remove without professional help. Humane removal and prevention are the best ways to keep raccoons from damaging your home and threatening your peace of mind.
